I take pride in being extremely transparent and diligent when it comes to educating and preparing my clients for the healing process. As you can see from the photos and illustrations below, there are different phases of healing. The tattoo will be fresh and bold for the first few days, then it will begin to dry out and flake off, usually within 7-10 days. After they finish flaking they may be extremely light, do not worry as the pigment will resurface after a few weeks and be 20-50% lighter than they were fresh.
